Ok Guys I decided to start another thread because the other one was getting clogged with 3 seperate discussions...
Any way....
Before this weekend I need each person going to Barrie to do the following...
Check all your gear...specifically marker, air and hopper. Make sure they are clean and working as they should. Do any regular maintenance (lube etc) that is required. Try not to change the primary configuration of the marker (moving the position of the air, putting in a new board or bolt etc). Make sure you put in fresh batteries in each device that needs them. In other words mke sure your gear is in shape for the weekend. We want to lessen the chance that a gun will go down during the tourney.
Next, make a check list of evething you will need on Saturday...somthing like the following...
1. Marker
2. Air
3. Hopper
4. Barrel / Barrel Kit
5. Barrel Bag
6. Mask
7. Paintball pants
8. Butt-Pack
9. Pods
10. DA Jersey (if you have one)
11. Jersey (other than DA jersey just in case)
12. Squeegy or Swab
13. Paintball Shoes (or shoes you usually play in)
14. Gloves
15. Extra batteries for Marker and hopper
16. Back-up Marker (if you have one)
17. Back-up Air (if you have one)
18. Back-up Hopper (if you have one)
19. Change of cloths for afterwards
20. For those who wear them...Contact lenses/Glasses
And so on.....
This checklist will be slightly different for each of you but should at least contain the major stuff....
Then....On Friday evening when you are getting ready, assemble everything on the list and and check it. Then check it of your list as you place it in your gear bag.
If we all do this then we can avoid any of those awfull "AW CRAP" moments on Saturday when someone realizes they forgot an item.
